Financial Aid Application
Please read these instructions carefully and then fill out and submit the form below. You must fill out the form all at once (you cannot complete sections and then return at a later time) so please gather needed financial materials first.
All scholarship applications must be received no later than March 15th, 2023. We will send notification as soon as possible after that deadline when we have completely evaluated all applications. Once you have submitted an aid application, your position will be held without a deposit until after you have been notified about your scholarship status. At that time a new deadline for your deposit will be given to you.
Please be aware that our committee rarely is able to give full scholarships, The number of scholarships given and the amount received will be determined by the amount of financial aid funding that has been donated to The Performing Arts Project. Our goal is to help as many students as possible but applicants should be aware that funding is quite limited. Scholarships are need-based and applicants must have a family income of less than $75,000 or demonstrate that the family is dealing with extenuating circumstances in order to be considered.
If you are a student who plans to file your financial aid form as an independent you must provide tax documents to support that you are no longer receiving funds from your parents and that their taxes are not filed with you listed as a dependent. Please email these to Kim@performingartsproject.com under the heading “Scholarship documents”. If you are applying as an independent many of the questions below will be irrelevant to you. Please fill out all of the student information as well as any extenuating circumstances that you would like us to consider (which can be filled in at the bottom).
All applicants should be prepared to send support documents if requested.
Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
